JAKARTA - The West Jakarta City Government (Jakbar City Government) has carried out a proactive service or pick-up of changes to population data for residents as a result of changing a number of street names in the area.

"We will carry out a ball pick-up service in the Rawa Buaya Village, Cengkareng," said the Head of the West Jakarta Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Sub-dept., Gentina Arifin, quoting Antara, Thursday, June 30.

The ball pick-up service was the result of changing the name of Jalan Rawa Buaya to Jalan Guru Ma'mun.

It was recorded that there were 41 heads of families who were required to change their population data due to the change of street names.

Therefore, he continued, his party carried out a ball pick-up service for two days from Wednesday, June 29 to speed up the administrative process.

It has been recorded that 31 family heads (KK) have changed their personal data.

"The population documents that we replace are E-KTP, KK and if there are children in the family who are under the age of 17, we will provide the child's identity card," he said.

After being picked up, residents were directed to come to the mobile car service which was parked in the yard of the RW secretariat office.

There, residents only need to bring a residence certificate whose data they want to change.

"The process is easy, doesn't take long and it's free," he explained.

The same service was also carried out by his party in Cengkareng, precisely on the West Outer Ring Road which was changed to Jalan Sheikh Junaid Al Batawi.

However, there were not too many residents who changed population data at that location.

"On the outer ring road there are only two families, namely eight residents," he explained.

Gentina ensured that residents who had not been able to come to the ball pick-up service car could register at the local sub-district to change their population data.
