JAKARTA - The police arrested a man who was carrying a package containing sandals which contained wires like a detonator or a bomb trigger. The man was examined intensively.

"It has been secured by someone delivering the object," said Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to VOI, Wednesday, June 29.

However, Zulpan did not specify the identity and to whom the package was sent.

According to information obtained, the package was found at the Class II A Women's Correctional Institution (Lapas) Tangerang, Tangerang City.

"They are still being investigated by police officers," said Zulpan.

In addition, he stressed that a bomb disposal team (jibom) had been deployed to the location. From the results of the examination, no explosives were found in the sandals.
