Police Confirm Man's Body In Sack At Kali Pesanggrahan Is A Murder Victim

JAKARTA - The police confirmed that the unidentified man who died wrapped in a sack at the Pesanggrahan River, Jalan Deplu Raya, South Jakarta was a murder victim. This was conveyed directly by the Head of the Kebayoran Lama Police, Kompol Agus Widar.

"Yes (the murder victim), has been post-mortem, has done an autopsy. We are still waiting for the forensic results from the doctor," Agus said when confirmed, Wednesday, June 29.

However, when asked about the injuries on the victim's body, Agus could not confirm it because he had not clearly seen the victim's body. According to Agus, it can be asked to the South Jakarta Metro Police.

"I have not seen the results of the visa," he said.

Rano Barasa (27), one of the witnesses to the discovery of the man's body in a sack at the Pesanggrahan River, South Jakarta, said that the victim was suspected of being a murder victim. Because, when the body was removed there was a stone measuring 50 centimeters tied in a sack.

Rano, who works as an officer for the South Jakarta Environment Service, also said that the body was found on Tuesday, June 28, at around 08.30 WIB.

That morning he was dredging trash at the crime scene (TKP) using heavy equipment, beko.

"I'm operating this heavy equipment (beko). Yes, we don't know what garbage is or what is a corpse. It's also called working in the garbage, we will dredge the garbage," said Rano.

"His position (the corpse) was covered with sacks. Two sacks, top and bottom. They were tied up and seemed to be given a weight like stone," Rano said when met on Jalan Deplu Raya, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, Tuesday, June 28.

"When we put it in front of us, my friend said he wanted to put it in the excavator's bucket. When we checked, "it looks like a corpse". I was spontaneously shocked, scared. I let go again into the water," he said.
