DPR Praises The Hotel And Food Received By Hajj Pilgrims In Mecca: Alhamdulillah Yes

JAKARTA - The House of Representatives (DPR) appreciates the services provided by officers to Indonesian pilgrims in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. DPR praised the terms of comfortable accommodation and good consumption.

"In general, the hotel is good, the food is delicious, the congregation also likes it, Alhamdulillah, yes," said Deputy Chair of Commission VIII DPR, Diah Pitaloka in Mecca, Tuesday, June 28, quoted from Antara.

Diah and a group of representatives of DPR members also had time to try the food prepared for the congregation which she said was also delicious. In addition to food, the congregation also received zamzam fruit and water.

"The food is standard. The aspirations of the congregation are to miss crackers and jengkol," he continued.

However, there are several notes that Diah conveyed as input, among others, related to the capacity of hotel rooms that need to be uniformed.

"The room capacity, if you can use a uniform, is at least one different, this is not a problem of the size of the room but psychological. For 40 days, six people may be more comfortable in three rooms, meaning that the standard equation for each congregation may need to be improved," added the politician from the PDI-P.

Diah, along with a number of other members of the Indonesian House of Representatives, reviewed the hotels where Indonesian Hajj pilgrims stay, namely in Sector 1 Mahbas Jin and Sector 5 Mahbas Jin.

In addition to the team led by Diah Pitaloka, representatives of the DPR led by DPR Commission VIII member Abdul Wahid also visited Al Kiswah Tower, Jarwal area in sector 4.

The group also appreciated the services provided to Indonesian pilgrims.

"We saw and chatted, the Indonesian pilgrims were very happy with the facilities provided," said Abdul Wahid.

The DPR RI delegation led by Wahid consisted of 9 people who were a combination of commissions ranging from Commission VIII, IX, and Commission I.

According to him, the congregation also praised the implementation of this year's hajj. Hotel rooms, for example, are very comfortable because each pilgrim gets one bed.

"The bathroom is also good. The catering is also delicious with Indonesian flavors, there are also fruits in every meal," said the politician from Gerindra.

Likewise for transportation, the presence of prayer buses that serve pilgrims for 24 hours from all hotels to the Grand Mosque PP is also appreciated.

After visiting the Al Kiswah Tower, the DPR member then visited the Al Mutamayizzun catering location, which had been assigned the task of providing food for 5,500 congregants.

From the terminal, the visit continues to see the Sagreyah Hotel in Raudhah. The hotel is specifically for Aceh and Medan pilgrims.

Similar to Al Kiswah Tower, the members of the DPR also received satisfaction from the congregation.

"Thank God the food is delicious. Three times a day, the taste is also typical of Indonesia. You can get fruit too. The hotel is also comfortable," said Siti Maryam, a pilgrim candidate from Aceh.
