Holywings In Jakarta Closed: The Fate Of 3 Thousand Employees And Permits Revealed When It Goes Viral

JAKARTA - DKI DPRD member Gembong Warsono criticizes the supervision of the DKI Provincial Government which is still weak on business activities. An example is Holywings because it just follows orders.

"This is when it's already crowded, it's just taking action and it's as if action is being taken because there is an order. It's not good either," said Gembong in Jakarta, Tuesday, June 28, quoted from Antara.

The PDI-P politician added that the Holywings business group had been operating for a long time. But suddenly the permit violation was exposed just when the business was being highlighted because of a business promotion case that smelled of SARA.

In fact, the DKI Provincial Government through the relevant agencies receives periodic reports from business actors every six months.

"There have been violations for several months, how come there has been action. It's already crowded, the provincial government has just gone viral," he said.

His party also asked the DKI Provincial Government to think about the fate of around 3,000 Holywings employees who are threatened with unemployment because the business is closed simultaneously this Tuesday at 12 Holywings outlets.

"If the supervision is carried out early, the impact will not arise. Due to the negligence of the DKI Provincial Government, it will have a tremendous impact on employees, this should not happen again in the future. Don't take it lightly," he said.

Previously, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government through the DKI Jakarta One Stop Integrated Service and Investment Service (DPMPTSP) closed the business licenses for 12 Holywings outlets through the revocation of the Business Identification Number (NIB).

"According to the governor's directives to act decisively, according to the provisions and deterrent," said Head of DPMPTSP Benni Agus Chandra in a written statement in Jakarta, Monday (27/6).

Meanwhile, the DKI Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) closed the place of business according to a letter from the DKI Jakarta DPMPTSP Service which revoked the Business Registration Number (NIB) for all Holywings outlets.

The revocation of the NIB was based on the recommendation of the Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Office on June 24, 2022, after the joint integrated team supervised the business outlets.

The joint officers consist of the Parekraf Service, PTMPTSP Service, the DKI Jakarta Trade, Industry, Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Service and the DKI Satpol PP.

From the results of the research and examination of documents and field monitoring, officers found that Holywings had not yet obtained a standard certificate for the Indonesian Standard Classification of Business Fields (KBLI) 56301 verified types of bar businesses.

In addition, officers found activities that were not in accordance with the permits they had because they featured entertainment activities such as music concerts, disc jockey performances both at home and abroad accompanied by discos.

Not only a matter of inappropriate business activities, the DKI PPKUKM Service found 12 Holywings outlets only pocketing a Retailer's Certificate (SKP) for alcoholic beverages.

If you only have an SKP, then the sale is only allowed to be taken home and not to be drunk on the spot.

Meanwhile, Holywings provides drinks in places that legally should have a Direct Seller Certificate (SKPL) class B and C.

The team found that seven outlets had SKP, and five other outlets did not have the letter.
