KPK Investigate Allegation Of Bribery On Tulungagung Financial Aid Budget Allocation, Has Determined Suspect

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named a number of people as suspects in the alleged bribery in the allocation of the East Java provincial financial aid budget for the 2014-2018 period for Tulungagung Regency.

"In this investigation, the KPK has named several parties as suspects," said Acting Spokesperson for the KPK for Enforcement, Ali Fikri in a written statement, Tuesday, June 28.

The decision was made after investigators collected evidence related to this allegation. However, Ali has not named the party named as a suspect.

The announcement of the suspects as well as the construction of the case, continued Ali, will be made when an attempt to force detention is carried out.

"Later on, when the attempt is made to force the arrest or detention, the KPK will announce which parties are designated as suspects, including the construction of the case and the alleged criminal article," he said.

Ali said witness summons would continue to collect evidence. Those who were called were asked to cooperate.

In addition, the KPK also hopes that the community will provide support. Not only that, the public is asked to report if they know information related to the investigation into the alleged bribery being investigated.

"The summons of various parties as witnesses is one of the efforts to collect evidence carried out by the investigative team and is currently underway," said Ali.

"KPK hopes for community support, if they have various information related to this case, they can immediately convey it to the KPK investigation team so that we will immediately explore the information," he concluded.
