COVID-19 Update As Of June 27: 1.445 New Cases Appear, But Those Who Have Recovered Increase 1.637

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 72.924 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 1.445 new positive cases of COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,081,896 and active cases have fallen by 201 to 14.315," said Ministry of Health data, Monday, June 27.

Today's recovered cases increased by 1.637 people, bringing the total to 5.910.855 recovered people. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 9 cases and totaled 156.726 people.

The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 838 cases and a total of 1.266.106 cases. Followed by West Java which has 241 new cases with a total of 1.110.897 cases. Banten has 147 new cases and a total of 296.358 cases. Bali has 77 new cases and a total of 158.527 cases.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 857 recovered cases. Followed by Banten with an increase of 342 recovered cases, West Java with an additional 282 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 67 recovered cases.

In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens has reached 100.572.843.

"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 3.35 percent," he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases, was recorded at 3,052 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

Furthermore, currently, there are 201.379.547 people who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 168.860.843 the second dose of vaccination. Then, the third dose of vaccination was 50.132.890. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208.265.720 people.
