MEKKAH - A pilgrim candidate from the Jakarta-Pondok Gede (JKG) Embarkation Group 3 who had a traffic accident on Friday (24/6), at around 22.00 Saudi Arabian Time (WAS) is currently being treated at King Faisal Hospital, Mecca.

"Currently, the Hajj pilgrims have been treated at the King Faisal Hospital in Saudi Arabia," said Head of the Mecca Work Area (Daker) Mukhammad Khanif in Mecca as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, June 25.

The hajj candidate who had an accident in front of the Lu'luah Hotel in the Sector 3 area of Raudhah was in the name of Sarjaka Ngadiman Nitikrama.

Khanif explained that the pilgrim candidate had returned from buying something at the mall opposite the hotel he was staying at.

"While crossing, a car driven by a Saudi citizen suddenly hit him," said Khanif.

As a result of the accident, it is estimated that the hajj candidate suffered a fracture in the front shoulder.

Khanif does not know for sure the condition of the calhaj, but can still speak normally and communicate with officers.

Khanif appealed to the pilgrims to be careful when crossing the roads that are quite congested in Saudi Arabia.

"We know that these routes have quite high speed and congested vehicles, so we need to be careful when crossing," he said.
