PKB-Gerindra Central Java Gathering Follow Up Greater Indonesia Awakening Coalition, Exchange Books By Prabowo-Cak Imin

JAKARTA - The management of the National Awakening Party DPW and Central Java Gerindra Party DPD followed up the Greater Indonesia Awakening Coalition by holding a political gathering in Semarang City.

Appearing to be present at the meeting were Central Java PKB DPW Secretary Sukirman, Central Java PKB DPW Treasurer Abdul Hamid, as well as a number of members of the Central Java DPRD PKB faction, such as Fuad Hidayat, Denny Septiviant, Siti Rosyidah, Hendri Wicaksono, and Chamim Irfani.

Then, the Secretary of the Central Java Gerindra Party DPD Sriyanto Saputro, Central Java Gerindra Party DPD Treasurer Heri Pudyatmoko, and Gerindra Faction Chairperson Rahmat Marzuki.

At the casual meeting, the two sides discussed many things, including current political dynamics.

"It's just coffee together, gathering, chatting about the latest political situation. We really want the DPP to immediately declare a presidential and vice-presidential pair. We continue to follow the instructions of the PKB DPP, as well as Gerindra colleagues," said Central Java PKB DPW Secretary Sukirman as reported by ANTARA, Thursday , June 23.

He mentioned that at the provincial level, the Chair of the Central Java PKB DPW KH Yusuf Chudlori and the Gerindra DPD chairman H Abdul Wachid had ordered their respective DPCs to establish initial communication between PKB and the Gerindra Party.

"On average, DPC friends have a high initiative to immediately declare, but are still waiting for DPP's direction," he said.

Secretary of the Central Java Gerindra Party DPD Sriyanto Saputro welcomed the meeting with the PKB and admitted that he was asked for permission from the DPC management every day to communicate with the PKB DPC throughout Central Java.

"Actually, Gerindra-PKB in Central Java is like deja vu because they have formed a coalition in the phenomenal 2018 Central Java gubernatorial election. Now we are even more excited because all the general chairpersons of political parties appear," he said.

During the meeting, the two political party administrators exchanged books by their respective general leaders.

PKB handed over a book by Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar entitled "State of Democracy and Social Justice", while the Gerindra Party handed over a book by Prabowo Subianto entitled "The Indonesian Paradox and its Solutions".

Gerindra Party DPP chairman Prabowo Subianto and PKB DPP chairman Muhaimin Iskandar held a meeting in Kertanegara, Jakarta, Saturday (18/6).

During the meeting, Gerindra and PKB agreed to work together to prepare for the legislative election, presidential election, and regional head elections in the 2024 election.
