JAKARTA - The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto was warmly received by the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia Hun Sen at The Peace Palace, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Wednesday 22 June.
In a release from the Ministry of Defense, Thursday, June 23, revealing the face-to-face meeting that took place in a friendly manner, Prabowo and Hun exchanged ideas about bilateral cooperation relations between Indonesia and Cambodia, as well as multilateral cooperation in ASEAN.

Prabowo and Hun met during Prabowo's working visit to Cambodia to attend the 16th ASEAN Defense Ministers Meeting (ADMM), where Cambodia was the host.
Prabowo also told Hun that meetings and communications between the two countries and government interactions in recent times show that both sides have the same vision in an effort to improve the quality of the ongoing cooperation.
"I hope that the cooperation and friendship between Indonesia and Cambodia can be maintained in the spirit of brotherhood and the principle of mutual respect," said the former Danjen Kopassus.
On this occasion PM Hun Sen thanked Indonesia and also personally to Minister of Defense Prabowo who has continuously provided assistance and support for the advancement of the Cambodian Armed Forces.
Currently, the two countries have very close cooperative relations, especially in the defense sector.
In particular, the TNI has been actively providing support in terms of education and training to the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces Commando Forces, the Cambodian Prime Minister's Guards, and the Cambodian Peacekeeping Forces.
