JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta turns 495 years old today, Wednesday, June 22, 2022. There are a number of agendas that will be held and celebrated to coincide with DKI's 495th Anniversary.

This morning, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government held a ceremony led by DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan at the South Plaza of the National Monument (Monas) at 07.00 WIB.

The 495th Anniversary of the City of Jakarta can be watched virtually through the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government YouTube account.

Furthermore, at 09.00 WIB, the DKI Jakarta DPRD will hold a special plenary session to commemorate the 495th Anniversary of the City of Jakarta.

The plenary meeting which will be held at the DKI Jakarta DPRD building, Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, will be attended by all members of the council and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.

After the plenary session, Anies Baswedan will hold a working meeting of the Governor in the Greater Jakarta area at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Central Jakarta.

Then, the DKI Provincial Government also held a reception night for the 495th Jakarta Celebration at the Balairung, DKI Jakarta City Hall.

This year, the DKI Provincial Government uses the name Jakarta Hajatan to commemorate the anniversary of DKI. This year's theme is "Celebrate Jakarta: Collaboration, Acceleration, and Elevation".

The series of Jakarta Celebration events began on May 24, followed by a number of activities and celebrations. After the DKI Jakarta Anniversary celebration today, another activity that will be held is the 2022 Health Center Expo from 23 to 25 June.

Then, the DKI Provincial Government also held the peak night of the Jakarta Celebration and the Jakarta Award at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) on Saturday, June 25. The last celebration is the bazaar which will be held in the Sudirman-Thamrin CFD area on Sunday, June 26.
