The Sport Shoe Store In Duren Sawit Was Burglarized By Thieves, The Loss Reached Rp. 10 Million, Here Is A Money Safe

JAKARTA - A sports shop located on Jalan Robusta Raya, Pondok Kopi, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, was burglarized by thieves. As a result of the incident, a number of lost shoes were stolen by the perpetrators.

The action was caught on CCTV surveillance cameras. The five perpetrators carried out the action using a car.

The perpetrators stole dozens of pairs of shoes and a sports shop safe belonging to the victim. Seen from CCTV camera footage, the perpetrator entered a sports shop on Jalan Robusta Raya, Pondok Kopi by breaking through the rolling door.

From Zalfa's statement, one of the store employees said that the theft was only discovered by the sports shop manager at 05.30 WIB. After seeing the rolling door and the door was damaged, the store manager also found that the shoe warehouse rack was empty.

"The incident was discovered at 05.30 WIB, my manager came here (the shop). (You can see) On the CCTV footage of 4 people, the perpetrator was in a car," he told reporters, Friday, June 17.

In that action, the perpetrator entered by breaking the glass door lock and door lock. One by one the perpetrators entered their target shop.

"Maybe something like that happened, because you can see for yourself the condition is like this (the shop door is broken)," he said.

The perpetrators who managed to break into the shop door and enter, took dozens of sports shoes worth hundreds of thousands of pairs.

"The shoes have a nominal value of more than Rp. 400 thousand, (lost) about 12 pairs. The loss is more than Rp. 10 million," said Zalfa.

The perpetrators who entered the store stole the shoes that were in the warehouse behind the store.

"Maybe he took it with what he (the perpetrator) saw. At the time of the incident, the shop was indeed closed, the incident happened at around 04.00 WIB," he said.

In addition to stealing shoes, the perpetrators also brought a safe that was stored under the cashier's desk. But the safe was already empty because the money had been brought home by the employee.

The perpetrators who managed to steal 12 boxes of sports shoes were put into the minibus that he had prepared. Then they fled in the car he had prepared.

Meanwhile, the Duren Sawit Police, who received the theft, immediately came to the scene. Police collected a number of witnesses and evidence from the scene. The case is still under investigation by the Duren Sawit Police.
