The Father Who Mutilated A 10-year-old Girl In Tembilahan, Riau, Was Observed Psychologically

TEMBILAHAN - The Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) District Police, Riau, revealed that the perpetrator of the mutilation murder who was suspected of having a mental disorder was currently undergoing psychiatric observation at the Tampan Pekanbaru Mental Hospital.

"We have taken him to the Pekanbaru Tampan Mental Hospital for psychiatric observation. After the results are out, we will publish them," said Inhil Police Chief AKBP Dian Setyawan, in Tembilahan, reported by Antara, Wednesday, June 15.

The police chief said that the perpetrators departed for Pekanbaru on Monday (13/6) night from Tembilahan. It is not yet known for sure what the motive for the murder was, because investigations are still ongoing.

"So for what motive, we also don't know whether the alleged perpetrator is in good health or mental disorder, we are still waiting for the results of the examination by a psychiatrist," said the Police Chief.

A 10-year-old girl became a victim of murder by her father Arharubi (42) by being mutilated on Monday at around 14.00 WIB. This boy is known to live alone with his father who is suspected of having a mental disorder.

The victim's parents have been separated for a long time since the victim was a toddler. Meanwhile, his mother lives in Igal Village in Mandah District.

"His status with his wife also turns out that they have been divorced since the victim was a baby," said the Police Chief.

For now, said the Chief of Police, his party is still continuing to search for parts of the victim's body which have not been found to this day.

"We are still trying to find it," he said.

The police chief stated that if the results of the examination of the perpetrator were found to be mentally disturbed, the case would be terminated.

"Our case is canceled for the sake of law," said the Police Chief.
