Prabowo At PT Dirgantara Indonesia: Protect People's Investment

JAKARTA - Minister of Defense, Prabowo Subianto, invites PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) as a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) for the defense industry to always maintain people's investment by managing companies well.

This was conveyed by Prabowo when handing over PTDI's defense equipment in the form of two Anti-Submarine Helicopters (AKS) and one CN235 MPA aircraft to the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy (KSAL) Admiral Yudo Margono at the Aircraft Service Hangar of PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) Bandung, Wednesday, June 15.

"Let's protect people's investment, let's reach technology together. Brothers and sisters, the weaknesses in the defense industry after our surgery are the result of mismanagement or mismanagement", Prabowo said, quoted from a written statement by the Prabowo Subianto Media Team, Wednesday, June 15.

Prabowo also thanked PTDI for working hard, “Today we witnessed the handover of one CN235, specifically for maritime patrols and two helicopters for anti-submarine warfare. So this is also PTDI's achievement but we also hope that PTDI will work even better, and improve performance. Increase efficiency.”

Prabowo also ordered the new PTDI directors to always be loyal to the country and try to increase production.

"PTDI has a tough task and we will pioneer cooperation with various parties from several other countries. We are very optimistic about PTDI's development, but we are also, I reminded you that the performance of PTDI's management must be really efficient", Prabowo said.

“It really has to be on par with the best practices in the world. So that's what the demands are", he continued.
