Assigned By Jokowi To Manage Land Disputes To Land Certification, Hadi Tjahjanto: In The Near Future The Target Can Be Realized

JAKARTA - Former TNI Commander Hadi Tjahjanto who was inaugurated as Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) confirmed that he would immediately start working. The three orders of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will certainly be completed even in the near future the target can be realized.

Hadi said that Jokowi had ordered three tasks. First, resolve the issue of land certification belonging to the people.

"So far, 81 million have been realized. The target we want to achieve is 126 million certificates," said Hadi at the State Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday, June 15.

The second problem that must be resolved, continued Hadi, is related to land disputes. "I will also resolve that. The land dispute may also overlap between the property of an institution or other unit and that of the people," he said.

The third is related to land in the National Capital City (IKN) of the Archipelago. "We will finish it soon," said Hadi.

"God willing, with synergy, later I will work with relevant agencies to make these three problems successful. In the near future, the target for how many days can be realized," he added.

As previously reported, President Jokowi said that he had conveyed the tasks that Hadi had to complete on Tuesday night, June 14, or before his inauguration.

Jokowi is confident that Hadi will be able to complete all the tasks assigned to him. Moreover, Hadi has experience as a TNI Commander who controls territorial issues.

"Pak Hadi is the Minister of ATR/BPN because he used to be the former commander of the territory," Jokowi told reporters at the State Palace, Jakarta.

In addition, the new minister is also considered capable of working in detail. "I believe Pak Hadi has the ability to do that," said Jokowi.
