JAYAPURA - The investigation into the stabbing perpetrator in Intan Jaya, Papua, who turned out to be a member of the KKB continues. From the interim inspection, it is known that FS has a special network for the procurement of ammunition for the KKB.

The joint TNI-Polri team is in pursuit of the KKB ammunition supplier. The suspects had the initials JS and the suspect AK, officers from the police were arrested in Intan Jaya.

The Head of Public Relations of the Papua Police, Kombes Musthofa Kamal, said that the arrest of the two suspects was based on the results of the development of the suspect FS.

"From the examination of JS, the suspect admitted that he had sold ammunition to FS, and we have also secured evidence in the form of 10 rounds of Cal 5.56MM ammunition," said Kombes Kamal, quoted from a written statement, Wednesday, June 8.

JS, who is a member of the OAP, admitted that he had received the ammunition. Then JS sold it to FS for Rp2 million and the money was handed over to suspect AK.

"The money was immediately handed over to the suspect AK. The transaction was carried out 2 times. The first transaction was 5 points and the second was 5 points," continued Kombes Kamal.

Apart from JS, AK also admitted that he had made the sale and purchase of the ammunition. Currently, both of them have been sent to Nabire for further investigation.

"We are still looking for other evidence, the remaining ammunition is in Minjau Village. We are still trying because the journey to the evidence storage location can only be reached by land that passes through the wilderness with a distance of more than 12 hours on foot," said Kamal.
