Targeting Top 3 In The 2024 Legislative Election, NasDem Will Brand In West Java

JAKARTA - The Regional Leadership Council (DPW) of the West Java (Jabar) NasDem Party is targeting to be in the top three as a political party by winning votes in the 2024 Legislative Election (Pileg).

The chairman of the West Java Nasdem Party DPW, Saan Mustopa, said that the target would be achieved if the party he belongs to is able to pass or win 11 seats in the Indonesian House of Representatives from West Java Province.

"If you want to be in the top three, of course, all of the DPR RI's electoral districts must be filled, there are 11 (seats)," said Saan after attending the "Workshop towards the 2024 NasDem Party Winning Roadmap" in Bandung, Monday 30 May.

To get there, said Saan, his party has prepared various strategies. This was clearly conveyed to the participants.

"We have to build structures, all the way to the villages, because this has the potential to increase, giving effect to popularity," he said.

His party said that his party was present in almost all villages in West Java. "Our structure must be at least TPS-based. Not only that, he also mentioned that all elements of his party must work," he said.

One of them is by preparing props to introduce the party to the public. Apart from that, his party also called 'papanization' a good strategy.

"The Nasdem Party wants to make a competition in West Java so that the popularity can be maximized. There are signboards, banners, flags," he said.

"Papanization is a symbol of territorial control. If nearly six thousand villages are installed, this is a symbol that we have controlled territory," he continued.

Moreover, Saan said that his party also optimizes the existence of the structure, one of which is by providing political education.

According to him, almost all of his party officials have participated in the program. "The structure is the backbone of the party. More than 90 percent of the structural administrators have attended political education," he said.
