ACEH - Nagan Raya Regent HM Jamin Idham and Deputy Regent H Chadilin Oesman have been summoned regarding campaign promises in the 2017 Pilkada which have not been fulfilled.

"The summons asked the Regent and Deputy Regent of Nagan Raya, HM Jamin Idham-H Chalidin Oesman, to carry out or fulfill political promises or the vision and mission of the Regent and Deputy Regent of Nagan Raya during the 2017 Pilkada campaign," said the Chair of the Aceh People's Advocacy Foundation (YARA). ) Representative of Nagan Raya, Muhammad Zubir, reported by Antara, Sunday, May 29.

The contents of the summons included the provision of death compensation in the amount of Rp. 21 million as promised to be distributed to the residents of Nagan Raya, no later than the fifth day after death.

Then giving birth (giving baby nutrition), free rice for the poor, free electricity for the poor.

Not only that, YARA also demanded a campaign promise from the two couples that promised to allocate 20 percent of the village fund allocation (ADG) for women, which would then be stated in the Nagan Raya Regent's Regulation.

"All of these subpoena points do not appear to have been carried out by the Regents and Deputy Regents of Nagan Raya," added Muhammad Zubir.

His party also asked the Regent and Deputy Regent of Nagan Raya HM Jamin Idham-Chalidin Oesman to carry out the promise within seven days after the summons was sent.

"If within the seven-day deadline the promises are not fulfilled or the results of their work cannot be shown, then we will challenge the campaign promises to the Suka Makmue District Court, Nagan Raya," said Zubir.

He said the subpoena was sent because it has been almost five years since he led Nagan Raya Regency, Regent HM Jamin Idham and Wakinya H Chalidin Oesman, the promise has not been fulfilled.

"We hope that the Regents and Deputy Regents of Nagan Raya as leaders who are trustworthy carry out their promises, and this summons is also a lesson for the future, so that they are not careless in promising something to the community, but then do not carry out their promises," said Zubir.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Legal Section of the Regional Secretariat of Nagan Raya Regency, Aceh Province, Abdul Hadi, who was confirmed separately, confirmed the summons sent by the YARA NGO, Nagan Raya Representative, against political campaign promises during the 2017 Pilkada.

"I haven't received the contents yet, but what is certain is that we will study the contents of the summons first," said Abdul Hadi.

He said his party had so far not been able to provide further information on the subpoena, so the contents of the summons that had been sent to the Nagan Raya Regency Government were studied in full.

He also promised to communicate with regional leaders regarding the summons. Abdul Hadi also said that the subpoena that was sent was suspected to be part of the politics of the 2017 Pilkada.
