JAKARTA - President Director of PT DNA Pro Akademi, Daniel Abe, gave a confession after being named a suspect and detained in the case of a trading robot. He said the business he was running was not systemically ready, causing losses to his members.

"Initially, the DNA application was very good. But it was growing rapidly for members, and the unpreparedness of our system led to the pyramid scheme," Daniel told reporters, Friday, May 27.

This pyramid or ponzi scheme is what causes its members to suffer huge losses.

A ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investment mode with the pattern of paying investors profits from their own money or money paid out by subsequent investors, not from the profits made by the individuals or organizations that run these operations.

"So indeed the pyramid scheme happened, and the pyramid scheme happened, the money did go back to member to member again," he said.

Therefore, Daniel stated that he was ready to be responsible for all his actions. The trick is to go through the legal process that is already running.

"I as the main director of DNA Pro, I apologize profusely to colleagues, to family, to members, and I have been responsible for all of that until this moment," he said.

However, at the end of his statement, the criminal mastermind of the DNA Pro trading robot hopes that the trading robot industry or business in Indonesia will continue to grow.

"Finally, I want to say that the robot trading industry must be even more advanced in the future than it is now," said Daniel.

In this case, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police has named 14 suspects. Where, most of them have been arrested and three of them are still fugitives.

The three fugitives include Daniel Zii, Ferawati alias Fei, and Devinata Gunawan.

In the case of the DNA Pro trading robot, 3,621 people became victims. The total loss reported reached IDR 551 billion.
