JAKARTA - Tangerang City Education Office, Banten, has determined that 93 schools consisting of 33 junior high schools and 60 elementary schools are included in the Branding School Program. This makes it easier for parents or guardians to choose a school for their child.

The Head of the Tangerang City Education Office, Jamaluddin, said that the Branding School was an innovation to make it easier for parents to choose a school for their children during the New Student Admission (PPDB) at the elementary and junior high school levels.

Prior to inaugurating the Branding School, the Tangerang City Education Office had provided assistance and briefing to schools spread across Tangerang City in determining their characteristics and advantages.

“From this assistance, schools can determine their direction, whether they want to go to sports or religion. For example, like SMPN 16 which favors sports, some of its students reach national level athletes. Then there is also SMPN 1 which excels in the academy, hopefully its students can also win at the national level in the scientific field," he said
