Good News From Mukomuko, New Regional General Hospital Will Be Built In 2023

BENGKULU - The Health Office of Mukomuko Regency, Bengkulu Province, is targeting the construction of a new regional general hospital of the pratama type for people who are far from the center of the local district capital starting in 2023.

"Development starts in 2023, including preparing an environmental impact analysis (AMDAL) and 'Detail Engineering Design' (DID)," said the Head of Disease Prevention and Control (P2P) of the Mukomuko District Health Office, Jajad Sudrajat, in his statement in Mukomuko, Thursday.

The local government through the Health Office previously proposed the construction of a pratama regional general hospital after the Ministry of Health brought up a menu of activities for the construction of a pratama regional general hospital.

The Ministry of Health received a proposal to build a pratama regional general hospital from the local government for construction next year. It is said that this area will receive a special allocation fund (DAK) of Rp. 73 billion to build a type D pratama general hospital in 2023 from Central government.

He said that the local government is currently completing the required documents, such as making a land certificate for the construction site of a pratama regional general hospital in Air Buluh Village, Ipuh District.

The Air Buluh Village Government, Ipuh District has donated a land area of 13,000 square meters for the construction site of a regional public hospital. Mukomuko Regency Regional Finance which will transfer the asset status from the village government to the district government.

Meanwhile, he said, the local government has determined the location for the construction of a pratama regional general hospital in Air Buluh Village, Ipuh District so that its existence can accommodate people in the four sub-districts of this area. Mukomuko Hospital is quite far, more than 100 kilometers. For this reason, the location is determined in Air Buluh Village. "These four sub-districts are located on the border of this area with North Bengkulu Regency. People both in this area and those in North Bengkulu Regency can get health services at this general area hospital," he said.
