JAKARTA - The Aceh High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) has arrested corruption convicts who have been on the wanted list (DPO) since 2020 in Ciamis Regency, West Java.

The Head of Section for Legal Information at the Aceh Prosecutor's Office, Ali Rasab Lubis, explained that the arrested corruption convict was Ami Aristoni (44). Amin was arrested at his residence in Ciamis Regency, Monday, May 23.

"The person concerned is a corruption convict who has been on the DPO since 2020. The person concerned is a DPO at the Bener Meriah District Attorney, Aceh, who was arrested by the Intelligence Team of the Attorney General's Office," said Ali Rasab, Tuesday, May 24, quoted from Antara.

Ami Aristoni is the former Secretary of the Department of Highways and Human Settlements in the Bener Meriah Regency. He was found guilty based on the Supreme Court's decision with a sentence of one year in prison and a fine of IDR 50 million.
