CENTRAL LOMBOK - The Department of Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) of Central Lombok Regency has submitted 20 thousand forms of Electronic Identity Card alias e-KTP to the central government.

"The current stock of blank ID cards is starting to decrease, so we are submitting another request," said Head of the Central Lombok Dukcapil Service Baiq Anita in Praya, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Tuesday 24 May.

He said the stock of blank ID cards was starting to run low, because many residents had applied for ID cards for college purposes. In addition, the submission of the request for a blank ID card was constrained by the holiday during the month of Ramadan, so the submission was late.

Although the stock of blanks is reduced, services for making population administration and data repair continue to be carried out both in the district and in the sub-district.

"Services will continue as usual. However, we will prioritize the printing of ID cards for those who need it," he said quoting Antara.

To facilitate service to the community, in addition to carrying out population administration activities on a mobile basis. The community can also make population documents in each sub-district, because direct printing can be carried out in the sub-district.

"Recording and printing of ID cards can be done in each sub-district," he said.

As the new academic year approaches, requests for ID cards have started to increase, so he hopes that the central government can provide the blanks that have been submitted, so that services to the community can continue to run optimally.

"We still have our blank stock, hopefully in the near future we can provide it and we will distribute it directly to each sub-district," he said.

In addition to recording e-KTP, his party also continues to increase the coverage of children's identity card ownership by providing ball pick-up services in collaboration with the Central Lombok District Education Office.

The requirements for making a Child Identity Card (KIA) include a photocopy of the Family Card, a photocopy of the Birth Certificate and a photo size 3x4 for children aged 5 years and over with a blue background for children with an even birth year and a red background for children with an odd birth year. .

"Children's Identity Cards are a substitute for ID cards for residents who have not yet reached the age of 17, so students from early childhood, kindergarten, elementary and junior high schools are the main targets in making MCH," he concluded.
