The Celebration Of Jakarta Anniversary Made By Anies This Year, Starting From Digital Nomad Island To Music Concert At JIS

JAKARTA - The Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan and the ranks of the DKI Provincial Government will hold a celebration of the 495th Anniversary of the City of Jakarta this year. The Jakarta Anniversary celebration was held lively after two years of being held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The celebration entitled "Jakarta Celebration" with the theme "Collaboration, Acceleration, and Elevation" will be held in a series of events on May 24 until the peak of the event on June 25, 2022.

DKI Regional Secretary Marullah explained, the 495th Jakarta Hajatan celebration series will be opened with the 495th Jakarta Celebration (Opening Ceremony: Jakarta's 495th Anniversary Celebration & Digital Nomad Island Launching) by DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan on Bidadari Island, Seribu Islands on Tuesday. , May 24, 2022.

"This opening ceremony will include discussions on the 495th Jakarta Celebration and Digital Nomad Island with world public figures. For the first time, this declaration will be held in the Thousand Islands," said Marullah at DKI City Hall, Monday, May 23.

The series of events for the 495th Jakarta Celebration was also filled with various events, namely, Jakarta Weekend Walking, Cycling and Running Tour, Jakarta International Java Jazz, Pilgrimage Ceremony of Heroes Cemetery, 495th Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony of Jakarta City, +Jakarta Concert at Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM), Regional Collaboration Week.

The Formula E race in Ancol on June 4 is also part of the Jakarta Celebration event. Then, there is also the +Jakarta Awards & Reception Night, as well as other performances and celebrations, such as the activation of regional murals, installations, music shows, exhibitions, to routine events, namely the DPRD Plenary Session and Ceremony.

The 495th Jakarta Celebration will be closed with a Closing Ceremony in conjunction with the Grand Launching of the Jakarta International Stadium on June 25, 2022.

A number of well-known singers are planned to attend to enliven this event. One of them, international musicians who will attend are Niki and Rich Brian. The two singers from Indonesia are signed to a music label from the United States, namely 88rising.

Apart from Niki and Rich Brian, the JIS grand launching will also be enlivened by singers Raisa Andriana, Rizky Febian, Isyana Sarasvati, Gamaliel, Marion Jola, and Boy William as the host or MC.

In the grand launching of this international standard stadium, the DKI Provincial Government will also present the Persija football club with the first kick off by Bambang Pamungkas.

In addition, Anies will also give a speech at the grand launching of JIS which is also the closing of the Jakarta Hajatan celebration, several cultural performances, to a fireworks party.

Marullah said that the Jakarta Celebration could be evidence for all elements in the city, as well as the world, for the various businesses that have been, are being, and will continue to be carried out by Jakarta in the future. At the same time reflecting back on the spirit of collaboration that has been echoed for the past 5 years.
