JAKARTA - Bank DKI won the 2022 Top BUMD award from Infobank magazine and The Asian Post as one of the BPD with the predicate 'excellent' in the category of KBMI 2 banks with assets of Rp50 trillion to Rp100 trillion.

This award was received by the President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy in Solo, Central Java on Thursday, 19 May. The award was given to BUMD in the financial sector which was considered able to take advantage of the recovery momentum so that it recorded a brilliant performance in 2021.

Bank DKI's credit distribution, continued Fidri, grew by 13.70 percent from IDR 33.6 trillion in March 2021 to IDR 38.3 trillion in March 2022.

"Gradually, Bank DKI also continues to improve credit quality which is well maintained, where in the first quarter of 2022, the gross NPL ratio is still maintained at 3.05 percent, improving compared to the previous period," he said.

It didn't stop there, Bank DKI's Third Party Funds (DPK) also grew by 34.32 percent to Rp. 57.74 trillion in the first quarter of 2022 from Rp. 42.98 trillion in the previous year. Thus encouraging the growth of total assets of Bank DKI by 27.7 percent to Rp71.13 trillion.

"Bank DKI was also able to record a net profit of IDR198.01 billion. Pre-provisioning operating profit (PPOP) grew by 44.7 percent from IDR273 billion in the first quarter of 2021 to IDR395 billion in the first quarter of 2021. I in 2022," said Fidri.

"In addition, Bank DKI's Fee Based Income also showed encouraging growth of 19.6 percent from Rp. 97 billion in the first quarter of 2021, to Rp. 116 billion," he added.

Fidri also added that currently he is continuing to develop digital banking products and services owned by Bank DKI through JakOne Community Apps to accommodate changes in customer behavior and people who are increasingly moving towards digital services.

This award adds to the series of awards received by Bank DKI. Previously, Bank DKI was named the World's Best Banks in 2022 by Forbes Indonesia Magazine, ranking 15 of the 20 Best Banks in Indonesia.
