18 People Arrested After Massacre Of A Student In Kemayoran, Police Call The Perpetrators Average Residents Of Penjaringan Jakut

JAKARTA - A total of 18 students were secured by a joint team from the Polda Metro Jaya and Polres Metro Jakarta Pusat on Thursday, May 19, evening. They were arrested for the stabbing case of a student with the initials GAHD (18) who died on Jalan Industri, behind the DP3KK Office, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

"It's true that we have arrested 18 people, last night we immediately arrested them," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Komarudin, Friday, May 20.

Komarudin stated that of the 18 students, two of them were the executor of the persecution. The status of the perpetrators are all students.

"On average they are still students and they are generally residents of Penjaringan, North Jakarta," he said.

The arrest was accompanied by the detention of evidence in the form of two sickle blades. And until now, officers are still looking for other evidence that was thrown away by the students involved in the action.

"The two executors are threatened with Article 170 of the Criminal Code and the others are still being investigated as to what their roles are," he said.

Previously reported, a student was found dead covered in blood with a number of wounds from being slashed by a sickle on his body. The victim lies on the side of Jalan Industri, behind the DP3KK Office, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Thursday, May 19.

The victim is known to have the initials GAHD (18), a resident of Utan Panjang, Kemayoran. GAHD died after being stabbed by a group of other teenagers with sharp weapons.

According to MED (17), one of the eyewitnesses of the incident told officers that the incident occurred when he and the victim were returning home from school, riding a motorbike.

When crossing the crime scene (TKP) suddenly 10 perpetrators chased after running from across the street. Furthermore, the three perpetrators who were carrying sickles immediately slashed at the victim. The victim at that time was carried by the witness, MED.

"The sickle stabbed the victim in the left hand, left elbow, left ear, and behind the left ear. After slashing the victim, the perpetrators fled," MED told officers in its report, Thursday, May 19.

The victim died instantly at the scene.
