Horror Inside The Taiwan Church And The Heroic Story Of The Doctor Who Died While Trying To Disable The Shooter

JAKARTA - David Wenwei Chou (68 years) will almost certainly spend the rest of his life in prison. Or even he will soon face the death penalty after his heinous act in a Taiwan church in the California area, United States.

David Wenwei Chou has been charged with 10 counts, including first degree murder, five counts of attempted murder and four other counts. Including having objects that aim to kill. David Wenwei Chou faces the death penalty or life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.

Chang's wife, Yu Ling, even threw David's gun into the refrigerator and tied the perpetrator's feet with an orange power cord.

But there is a sad story. John Cheng, a doctor who helped apprehend David, was shot dead in the attack. Five people were injured.

Orange County Police said the shooting was likely a politically motivated hate incident targeting people of Taiwanese descent. Sheriff Don Barnes said the suspect was upset by political tensions between China and Taiwan.
