Ade Yasin Detained By KPK For Alleged Corruption, Plt Regent Of Bogor Confirms One Billion One Village 'Samisade' Program Still Running

BOGOR - Acting Bogor Regent, Iwan Setiawan, emphasized that the One Billion One Village or Samisade program is still running even though Regent Ade Yasin is dealing with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

"Because, since Samisade rolled out in 2021, it has been able to accelerate development in villages, especially in terms of improving infrastructure," said Iwan as quoted by Antara, Monday, May 16.

According to him, thanks to Samisade, which is a village financial assistance program, the Bogor Regency Building Village Index (IDM) in 2021 has reached 0.7681 from the target in the 2018-2023 Regional Medium Term Plan (RPJMD) of 0.7524.

"It has exceeded the target. But we want IDM to continue to increase so that it has independent status," said Iwan.

Iwan said that currently out of 416 villages in Bogor Regency, there are 93 independent villages, 229 developed villages, 94 developing villages. Iwan hopes that, with the injection of the Samisade program, he can create more developed villages.

"We have zero underdeveloped villages. Now with the status of developing villages, don't let them fall into underdeveloped villages. Bogor Regency is mostly rural, so development progress will be seen from the extent to which these villages develop, progress and become independent villages," said the Gerindra politician.

In the 2022 Bogor Regency Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD), the prepared Samisade budget reaches Rp. 395 billion for 415 villages.

Iwan also encouraged villages that had not yet completed an accountability report (LPj) for the use of Samisade in 2021, to complete it immediately.

"If it has not been completed, the 2022 Samisade will not be given first. Because it must be good in field work and reporting so that there are no administrative errors," he said.
