485 Prospective Congregants In Central Kalimantan Have Paid Hajj Fees, 251 Are Still In Process

PALANGKA RAYA - A total of 736 prospective pilgrims from Central Kalimantan will depart for the 2022 hajj season. Of these, 485 prospective pilgrims have reportedly paid off the hajj costs.

Based on data from the Central Kalimantan Ministry of Religion's Regional Office as of Thursday, May 12, 251 prospective pilgrims from Central Kalimantan are still in the process of paying off their fees.

The Acting Head of the Hajj and Umrah Organization (PHU) Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Central Kalimantan, Hasan Basri said, the process of departing prospective pilgrims in 2022 is still in the process of being paid off.

"Currently the process continues, especially in the payment stage," he said in Palangka Raya, as quoted by Antara, Monday, May 16.

Before they can be sent to Mecca, prospective pilgrims are required to pay off the cost of the pilgrimage. Regular pilgrims who have paid the 2020 Hajj Travel Costs (BPIH) must confirm to the Deposit Receiving Bank (BPS) the costs of organizing the pilgrimage.

Please note, the repayment period of BPIH is until May 20, 2022.

Meanwhile, the requirements for confirmation of settlement and payment for regular Hajj repayments in 2022 are the first to have paid off the pilgrimage costs for 1441 H/2020M.

Second, the highest age is 65 years on June 30, 2022 according to the order of serving numbers. Then they have never performed the Hajj or have performed the Hajj for at least 10 years since the last Hajj.

Furthermore, the minimum age of 18 years on June 4, 2022 or already married and pilgrims must also have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

The prospective pilgrims who will depart this year are also asked to improve their understanding of the procedures for Hajj independently. In addition, always maintain personal health and obey the directions and instructions of officers.
