Police Still Investigating Mistreatment Case Of Celebrity Jennifer Coppen At Shishi Bar Bali

BADUNG - The North Kuta Police are still investigating the alleged abuse of actress Jennifer Rochelle Coppen.

The celebrity, who often looks sexy and has starred in a number of soap operas and television screens, is suspected of being persecuted at Shishi Bar, on Petitenget Street, North Kuta, Badung, Bali.

"Yes, it is true (there is an alleged abuse). We have received the report and we are still conducting an investigation," said the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of North Kuta Police, Insp. Mohammad Amir when confirmed, Monday, May 16.

Jennifer Coppen reported the incident that occurred in the early hours of Thursday, May 12. At that time Jennifer saw a drunk foreign woman being harassed by a group of men.

One of the men attracted Jennifer Coppen. Jennifer was slapped until she was in pain.

"For this incident, the reporter (Jennifer) immediately reported to the North Kuta Police for further handling," he added.

In this case, the police will summon a number of witnesses from the Shishi Bar.

"If our alleged abuse is still at the investigation stage, in other words, we can only get information from one side from the complainant," said Insp. M Amir.
