JAKARTA - Candidate for Mayor of Medan Bobby Nasution said Medan was still unsafe. Crime and thief still often occur.

This condition was responded to by Bobby, who was paired with Aulia Rachman, to fix the security system in Medan City. The plan is for Bobby to install 20 thousand CCTVs if elected in the Medan Pilkada.

"This condition makes the city of Medan not conducive to installing 20 thousand CCTVs at all vulnerable points to fix street lighting to prevent crime," Bobby was quoted as saying on the Instagram account bobbynst, Tuesday, October 13.

"CCTV can be directly connected from the residents' homes to the Transportation Agency so that if an incident occurs it can be seen from the CCTV of residents," he added.

Previously, the viral on social media of men riding electric scooters was snatched by motorized people on the streets of Medan City. The police will investigate this incident.
