JAKARTA - A total of 19,449 people visited Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) in East Jakarta on the second day of Eid, Tuesday, May 3.

TMII Executive Director, I Gusti Putu Ngurah Sedana said the number was based on ticket sales until 18.00 WIB.

"The number of visitors who entered TMII individually or through 'online' tickets was 19,449," Sedana said in Jakarta as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, May 3.

Sedana added that the number of tourist visits on D+1 Lebaran had significantly increased compared to the previous day since TMII was reopened on April 30, 2022.

"An increase of almost 95 percent," said Sedana.

TMII, which is still under renovation to welcome the G20 event, limits the number of tourist capacities to only 50 percent.

"The visit limit is 50 percent or 30,000 people for the public," said the Director of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah.
