One Way Semarang-Jakarta Reverse Flow, Polda Metro Prepares 4 Jakarta-Bandung Alternative Lines, Here's The List!

JAKARTA - The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya has prepared four alternative routes from Jakarta to Bandung during the implementation of a one-way return flow from Semarang on 6-8 May 2022.

"There are four alternative routes from Jakarta to Bandung during the one-way return flow from Semarang to Jakarta," said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo in Jakarta, Antara, Tuesday, May 3.

Sambodo mentions the first alternative Jagorawi-Puncak-Cisarua-Cipanas-Cianjur-Sukaluyu-Cipatat-Padalarang-Bandung. The second alternative crosses Jagorawi-Cibubur-Cileungsi-Jonggol-Cianjur-Padalarang-Bandung.

The third alternative is through Kalimalang-Kedung Waringin-Karawang-Purwakarta-Wanayasa-Lembang-Bandung.

The fourth alternative is through the Kalimalang-Kedung Waringin-Karawang-Purwakarta-Sukatani-Darangdang-Cikalong-Padalarang-Bandung route.

Previously, the Head of the Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas) Police Inspector General Firman Shantyabudi appealed to residents who were going home to return to Jakarta early to avoid traffic congestion.

"Because on the 6th, 7th and 8th there will be a fairly high peak of backflow," said Inspector General Firman.

Firman estimates that the peak of backflow after the Eid holiday will occur on May 6-8 2022 so that the volume of vehicles will be high.

Firman said that residents who return to the capital before May 6 will be more comfortable on the trip because the concentration of vehicle volume will be divided.

"If you have enough time off, you can go home after the 9th. Once again for the convenience of all of us," said Firman.

However, Firman ensured readiness to face the backflow of Lebaran 2022 and asked the public to follow the policies and rules of the National Police Traffic Corps.
