BANDUNG - The Subang Police have confirmed that the Tangkuban Parahu-Subang Highway, in the Ciater area, Subang Regency, West Java, which was hit by a landslide can now be traversed by vehicles.

The Subang Police Chief, AKBP Sumarni, confirmed that the police were already at the location to handle the flow of vehicle traffic due to the landslide. The route is the main access from Bandung to Subang, precisely in Dauan Village, Ciater Village.

"It's near the Simpang Dua Anak Enough Monument, but there are already officers and now the road can be passed," said Sumarni in Subang, West Java, as reported by Antara, Monday, May 2.

In addition, according to him, the road can already be passed by two traffic flows, both towards Subang and towards Bandung.

Previously, the landslide covered the road in half. So that the flow of traffic was jammed when there were no officers.

Meanwhile, West Java Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Pusdalops Coordinator Hadi Rahmat said the landslide was caused by the high intensity of rain in the area.

Hadi also confirmed that there were no casualties as a result of the landslide. The landslide, he said, only had time to cause access to congestion.

"The West Java BPBD team continues to coordinate with the Subang BPBD regarding the landslide in Ciater," Hadi said.
