Political Consultants Eep Saefulloh And M Taufik Participate In Eid Prayer With Anies Baswedan At JIS

JAKARTA - Several political figures performed the Eid prayer at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) together with the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan.

The political figures include the Deputy Chair of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly who is also the General Chair of the Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN), Zulkifli Hasan, and a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives and Nasdem Party politician, Ahmad Sahroni.

Then, former Minister of Youth and Sports Roy Suryo, Deputy Chair of the DKI DPRD from the DKI Gerindra Party Mohamad Taufik, and Deputy Chair of the DKI Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) from the DKI PAN Party, Zita Anjani.

In addition, there is also the President Director of Polmark Indonesia, namely a political consulting agency, Eep Saefulloh Fatah.

Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly, Zulkifli Hasan, said his presence at JIS for Eid prayers was one of the ways he appreciated Anies Baswedan.

"We also need to appreciate Mr. Anies, his many achievements include the JIS and this once again the excesses of the presidential election, the gubernatorial election must end later with the competition again in (Election) 2024", said Zulkifli, Monday 2 May, quoted from Antara.

He also hopes that the momentum of Eid 2022 will further strengthen the nation's brotherhood.

"End hostility, hatred, let's love each other, love each other, love narrative, respect each other", he said.

Eid prayers at JIS went smoothly with the sunny North Jakarta weather.

Thousands of worshipers attended the first prayers held in the 23-hectare stadium and the first time after being hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prayers were held with Khatib KH Muhammad Cholil Nafis and Imam Ustaz Heri Kuswanto who won the 2018 National MTQ.

After the prayer, residents were permitted to walk around to see JIS from inside.
