KPK Searched The Bogor Regent's Hall, Ade Yasin And A Number Of Places, Documents And Foreign Currency Were Seized

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) task force team has finished searching a number of places in a series of hand arrest operations (OTT) that ensnared the Bogor Regent, Ade Yasin.

"The Investigative Team (Thursday, April 28) has completed carrying out forced searches at several locations in the Bogor Regency area," said Plt. KPK spokesman Ali Fikri in a statement received in Jakarta, Friday, April 29.

Ali revealed that there were four locations that were searched by the KPK investigators. Namely, the pavilion or official residence of the Bogor Regent, the PUPR office of the Bogor Regency Government, the Bogor Regency Government's BPKAD office, and the residence having its address at Ciparigi, North Bogor, Bogor City.

"Various evidence was found and secured. Among them were various financial documents," explained Ali Fikri.

In addition, the KPK also found money in foreign currency denominations. The evidence in question, said Ali Fikri, is strongly suspected to be related to the subject matter.

"Furthermore, the evidence will be immediately analyzed and then confiscated and become the completeness of the investigation case file," said Ali. It was previously reported that Ade Yasin was named a suspect after he was caught in a hand arrest operation (OTT) which was held from Tuesday, April 26 to Wednesday, April 27.

Apart from Ade Yasin, the KPK has also appointed the Bogor Regency PUPR Secretary, Maulana Adam; Head of Sub-District Cash for BPKAD Bogor Regency, Ihsan Ayatullah; and PPK at the Bogor Regency PUPR Service, Rizki Taufik was named a suspect for giving.

While the recipients were four BPK employees representing West Java, Anthon Merdiansyah, Arko Mulawan, Hendra Nur Rahmatullah Karwita, and Gerri Ginanjar Trie Rahmatullah.

Ade Yasin gave the bribe because he wanted Bogor Regency to win the WTP title for the 2021 Fiscal Year from the West Java BPK representative. As a result of his actions, Ade Yasin was detained at the Polda Metro Jaya detention center. Meanwhile, the other suspects are being held in a number of different detention centers, such as the KPK Rutan in Lot C1, the KPK Rutan in the KPK Merah Putih building, and the KPK Detention Center at the Jaya Guntur Pomdam.
