Batang Polres Urges Travelers Not To Be Careless, Always Take Turns Taking Care Of Their Belongings While Resting

BATANG - Batang Police Chief AKBP Irwan Susanto appealed to all travelers to take turns guarding their belongings when taking a short break to prevent incidents of theft.

"We should take turns guarding each other, so we take turns getting out of the car in turn so we can take care of each other (luggage and family, ed.)," he said when met by Antara in Batang, Thursday, April 28.

The perpetrators will pay attention to every movement of the target when someone is careless and insensitive to the surrounding environment. In addition to vigilance, the police are also on standby to prevent things that make travelers uncomfortable and safe.

The Batang Polres continue to anticipate every point by alerting 500 to 600 personnel, both from the combined TNI/Polri, the Batang Regency Government, and volunteers.

In addition to anticipating incidents of theft, personnel are also deployed to regulate traffic so that it remains smooth and there is no buildup.

"Several officers, both wearing official and non-service uniforms, remain on standby in every route that allows for security and social security vulnerabilities, we have also prepared. Hopefully it doesn't happen in Batang Regency," he said.

He hopes that the travelers can arrive safely and happily at their destination.

He also asked that all parties work together so that going home runs smoothly after facing two years of the COVID-19 pandemic.
