D-4 Eid Al-Fitr, 134,148 Homecomers Are Predicted To Fly From Soekarno Hatta Airport

BANTEN - The movement of passengers at Soekarno Hatta International Airport (Soetta), Tangerang, Banten, experienced an increase on D-4 Eid Al-Fitr 1443 Hijrah.

Soetta Airport's Senior Manager of Branch Communication and Legal, Holik Muardi, said that the increase in the movement was observed in Terminal II with crowded passengers since this morning.

"The prediction of passenger movements today will increase to 134,148 passengers, with the number of aircraft movements also increasing to 896 aircraft movements", he said in Tangerang, Thursday, April 28.

He said the estimated jump to 134,148 people, slightly up about 12 percent, from the estimated number of passengers predicted to reach 120,000 passengers.

"The peak of the Eid homecoming at Soetta Airport is expected to occur from today until Saturday or D-2 Eid", he said, as reported by Antara.

In detail, he said, that the movement of passengers and planes at Soetta Airport, was dominated by activities in Terminal II, which serves domestic flights with Lion Air and Batik Air.

"Flights are dominated in terminal II, by Lion and Batik airlines. One foreign flight is also recorded from terminal II", he said.

With details, the number of flights at Terminal II is currently 415 flights and 60,356 passengers.
