Apart From Reminding The COVID-19 Prokes, Regent: Don't Wear Open Clothes On The Beach In The Padang Pariaman Region

PADANG - The Regent of Padang Pariaman, Suhatri Bur reminded tourists to continue to comply with the health protocols (prokes) even though the COVID-19 pandemic in the area is under control. Cases in the district in West Sumatra (West Sumatra) are now dropping drastically.

"Alhamdulillah, COVID-19 has dropped dramatically, we hope that this COVID-19 will no longer exist so that there will be freedom," said Suhatri Bur in Parik Malintang, Thursday, April 28.

He said that although COVID-19 had dropped drastically and the Eid holidays and going home this year were allowed by the government, the process had to be maintained so that there would not be a spike in cases of the virus.

Don't let it happen, he continued, because he did not comply with the procedures during the Eid holiday, there was a spike in COVID-19 cases or even a new variant of the virus was discovered. "Of course we don't want it to be like that, so let's take care of the progress," he said, as reported by Antara.

In addition to reminding them to remain disciplined in health care, Suhatri also asked homecomers or tourists who travel to the coast of the Padang Pariaman area not to wear revealing clothes.

He said, creating a culture of mutual respect not only with other tourists but also local culture in tourist destinations.

"One example is that we are ordinary people with people wearing bikinis, we ask not to wear revealing clothes when swimming at beach attractions in Padang Pariaman," he said.

It is known that the Padang Pariaman Regency Government has prepared a tourism awareness group in the area to welcome tourists who will visit the area.

Previously, the Padang Pariaman Regency Government monitored the readiness of tourism awareness groups (Pokdarwis) in the area to face the 2022 Eid holiday which is predicted to see a surge in tourists.

"Today we are 'monitoring' the readiness of facilities at tourist objects so that tourists feel safe and comfortable on vacation to tourist objects in Padang Pariaman," said Acting Head of the Padang Pariaman Regency Tourism and Sports Office Muhammad Fadhly after monitoring tourist attractions in Padang Pariaman. This was done because most of the tourist attractions in Padang Pariaman Regency are managed by Pokdarwis. Although the tourism object is managed by Pokdarwis, the Padang Pariaman Regency Government continues to provide assistance so that the managed tourism object develops and is visited by many tourists.

Moreover, in a few more days the Eid holiday and it is predicted that the number of tourist visits to the blood will increase so that the inspection of restaurant facilities, toilets, prayer rooms and the readiness of beach security so that tourists are not disappointed.
