JAKARTA - Eight buildings were burned down on Jalan Racnho Indah, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, Thursday, April 28, at 03.42 WIB.

Head of South Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Herbert Plider, said that of the eight buildings that caught fire, six of them were kiosks and the rest were residential houses.

He explained that the incident began when a witness, Nurmansyah, saw the fire from the chicken stall. Suddenly, he immediately screamed and tried to put out the fire.

"The fire came from the Betawi kitchen chicken shop. It had grown above the ceiling and screamed the fire and tried to extinguish it by pouring water with a hose. But the fire is getting bigger," he explained.
