Two People Become Suspects Of Corruption In The KPU Budget Of West Seram Regency

AMBON - Investigators from the Maluku High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) have named two suspects in the alleged corruption case of the 2014 Presidential Election and Legislative Election budget at the West Seram Regency (SBB) KPU which cost the state finances Rp9 billion.

"Two people who have the status of suspects are MDL as the Commitment Making Officer and the Treasurer of the SBB KPUD with the initials HBR," said Head of Penkum and Public Relations of the Maluku Attorney General's Office, Wahyudi Kareba, in Ambon, as reported by Antara, Friday, April 22.

The investigators determined the two suspects after conducting a marathon examination of 57 people as witnesses.

According to him, after the case is held, there are elements that are fulfilled in this case.

"It is possible that there will be additional new suspects, but for the time being only two people have been named as suspects although they have not been detained yet," he said. questioned as a witness.

The dozens of witnesses who have been questioned include the SBB KPUD Chair and Commissioner, a number of KPUD Secretariat staff to the PPK chairman and members from Inamosol, Kairatu, and Amalatu subdistricts.
