SIAK - The Siak District Attorney, Riau Province has named the Teluk Mesjid Village Head, Sungai Apit Sub-district with the initials FS as a suspect in alleged corruption in the 2020 village income and expenditure budget (APBKam) amounting to Rp.231.7 million. Heydy Hazamal Huda in his press conference, Thursday, April 21, said the determination of the suspect was carried out after examining FS, who was originally a witness. Subsequently, an investigation was carried out, examining evidence of letters and evidence of instructions and obtained the results of an audit of the calculation of state losses conducted by the Siak Inspectorate auditor on 21 April 2022. "So a suspect has been named on behalf of the FS head of Kampung Teluk Masjid from 2020 until now. Based on the results of the audit of the calculation of state losses carried out by the Inspectorate Auditor of Siak Regency on April 21, 2022, there was a state financial loss of Rp.231,711,537," he said, quoted by Antara. Based on the consideration of objective and subjective methods regulated by the Criminal Procedure Code, the suspect is detained for the next 20 days. The suspect is being held at the Siak Resort Police Detention Center. Article 2 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 paragraph 1 letter a, letter b and paragraph 2 of Law Number 31 1999 Juncto Law number 20 of 2001 concerning the eradication of corruption crimes is applied to the suspect. He said that in 2020 Kampung Teluk Masjid has an APBKam budget of Rp2,506,586,145.
