Agam Police Deploy 150 Personnel To Secure Eid Homecoming At 10 Posts

AGAM - The Agam Police, West Sumatra deployed 150 personnel to secure the flow of going back and forth for Eid al-Fitr 1443 H at 10 security points.

Agam Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Adjutant Ferry Ferdian in Lubukbasung, Friday said the 150 personnel who were deployed were from Sat Sabara, Sat Binmas, Sat Traffic, Sat Reskrim, and others. cross-sectoral coordination of Ketupat Singgalang Operations 2022.

He said the 150 personnel would provide security at 10 posts or security points.

The 10 security points came from four security posts, namely, Ambun Pagi Security Post, Matur District, Kelok 32 Security Post, Matur District, Pangamanan Simpang Maninjau Post, Tanjungraya District, Pangamanan Simpang Gudang Post, Lubukbasung District.

Meanwhile, there are six service posts, namely, Puncak Lawang Service Post, Matur District, Lawang Park Service Post, Matur District.

In addition, the Muko-muko Service Post, Tanjungraya District, Lubukbasung Old Market Service Post, Lubukbasung District, Pasir Tiku Service Post, Tanjungmutiara District and Linggai Service Post, Tanjungraya District.

"We have established this service post in the center of the crowd in the form of traditional markets and tourist attractions. Hopefully, the presence of the Service Post will provide comfort and security for visitors on their trips," he said.

Meanwhile, Secretary of Agam Edi Busti added that this year's Eid security is different from the previous year, because in 2020-2021 people are not allowed to visit tourist places or locations in anticipation of COVID-19.

"This year, we can go home for Eid, but we still adhere to health protocols," he said.

In the context of securing Eid Al-Fitr 1443 H, BPBD, Satpol PP, and the Department of Religious Transportation will jointly carry out security.
