This Is Why Cars Are Allowed To Participate In The BSD Street Race

TANGSEL-Director of Traffic Metro Jaya Police, Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo explained why four-wheeled vehicles were allowed to join and participate in the BSD Street Race, Pagedangan, Tangerang Regency because of the large number of car communities participating in the racing event.

"Why are cars involved, because there is pressure from the car racing community to participate in the Street Race event," Sambodo told reporters, Thursday, April 21.

There are dozens of four-wheeled vehicles that have registered in the BSD Street Race event this time. Scheduled for their car vehicles will follow on Sunday, April 24.

"For cars and for big motorbikes and so far there have been 57 car racers registered," he said.

Previously it was reported that the Directorate of Traffic would continue the street race at the end of April. In fact, later there will be a car racing category.

"There will be sheets of several categories and for the first time we will hold a street race in the car category," said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yogo to reporters, Monday, April 18.

The plan, the street race will be held on April 22 to 24. The location is on the BSD circuit or precisely on Jalan Grand Boulevard (in front of ICE BSD), Pagedangan, Tangerang Regency.

Currently, the registration process has started to be opened online. Public interest is also quite high, but the number of participants is not specified for the time being.

“Registration has been opened at loket.com. The registration ticket price for participants is Rp. 150 thousand," said Sambodo.
