Support The Development Of IKN Nusantara, TNI AD Soldiers In Penajam Will Be Added

PENAJAM - Indonesian National Army (TNI AD) soldiers assigned to the territorial area of the Military District Command 0913/Penajam Paser Utara, East Kalimantan, will be added to support the construction of the National Capital City or IKN Nusantara.

"The addition of Indonesian National Army personnel in the IKN Nusantara area has been discussed", said Commander of the Military Resort 091/Aji Surya Natakesuma, Brigadier General of the TNI Dendi Suryadi, in Penajam, as reported by Antara, Tuesday, April 19.

The addition of soldiers in the territorial area of Military District Commander 0913/PPU, he continued, was in line with the construction of the Nusantara IKN in Sepaku District, North Penajam Paser Regency.

However, Suryadi has not been able to say for sure how many additional Indonesian National Army personnel will be because they are still waiting for the next stage. "We have not been able to determine the number, and whether the addition of new soldiers or personnel being transferred from other places", he said.

With the development stages of the Nusantara IKN continuing, there will also be additional Indonesian National Army soldiers, to secure the territorial area of the new Indonesian capital.

The Indonesian National Army does not only support the development of the IKN Nusantara, he stressed, but also runs programs regarding regional food security.

There are quite a several programs implemented by Military District Commander 0913/PPU, including building food security which is part of regional resilience. "The Indonesian National Army is also active in handling COVID-19, establishing Pancasila villages and territorial development", he explained.

He visited North Penajam Paser Regency to find out about the geographical, demographic, and social conditions in the territorial area of Military District Commander 0913/ASN and he was greeted by the Commander of Military District Commander 0913/PPU, Lieutenant Colonel Infantry Dharmawan Nugroho.

The consideration of a working visit to Military District Commander 0913/Penajam Paser Utara, said Suryadi, was because the area was included in the new Indonesian IKN area called Nusantara.
