Central Java Police Collect 427 Orphans And Orphans Affected By COVID-19

SEMARANG – A total of 427 orphans and orphans affected by COVID-19 received assistance from the Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Pol Ahmad Luthfi through the "Aku Sedulurmu" Program. Assistance in the form of money, basic necessities, and stationery was given at the Central Java Police Headquarters, Monday, April 18.

The activity was attended by the Central Java Youth Committee (PPM) Patriani Paramita Mulia and the Chairperson of the Central Java PPM Regional Management Hj Gatyt Sari Chotijah Syafii.

The Head of the Central Java Police thanked the Dirbinmas of the Central Java Police, Grand Commissioner Lafri Prasetyono who had held the activity entitled Ramadhan Peduli in collaboration with the Panca Marga Youth.

"Thank you, I hope that the contribution made can ease the burden on our brothers and sisters who have been affected by COVID-19," said Regional Police Chief Ahmad Luthfi in a written statement, Monday, April 18.

According to Regional Police Chief, the COVID-19 pandemic situation has had a tremendous impact on society, especially for school-age children who have lost their parents to COVID-19.

Therefore, the Central Java Regional Police created the 'Aku Sedulurmu' program to help orphans whose parents died due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"So the Central Java Police together with relevant stakeholders through the Aku Sedulurmu Program make maximum efforts to provide attention, assistance, and ensure the continuity of education for these children," continued the Police Chief.

The 427 children and youth who received the aid were orphans and orphans from all over Central Java. They went together to Semarang accompanied by police officers from each Resort Police.

One of the students who received the aid named Adi Pratama who came from a high school in Demak was grateful for the assistance he received through the 'Aku Sedulurmu' Program.

He hopes that the program can realize his hopes and other orphans due to COVID-19 to achieve a bright future.

"Hopefully this assistance can lead us to achieve higher education. Thank you, good luck to all of us," he hoped.
