JAKARTA - The Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, has resumed his ngabuburit activities to help residents. Ganjar, who worked together with the Central Java Baznas, came to two districts, namely Boyolali and Karanganyar.

Ganjar provides assistance for house renovation or rehabilitation of uninhabitable houses (RTLH) to residents in need in Boyolali and Karanganyar. Two houses were built by Ganjar, namely the house of Suprapto, a resident of Metuk Mojosongo Boyolali, and the house of Ngatemi, a resident of Dayu Gondangrejo, Karanganyar.

However, there was something different about ngabuburit Ganjar at that time. Ganjar also handed over aid for mosque construction and basic food assistance for Islamic boarding schools.

Food assistance was given by Ganjar to hundreds of students at the Ilyas Islamic Boarding School, Karanganyar. Meanwhile, mosque construction assistance was given to the Ibadurrohman mosque in Sedayu Village, Jumantono, Karanganyar.

"God willing, there is help that might be used. I want to invite all of us, in this month of Ramadan, let's spread the goodness. Not only Ramadan, but after Ramadan and so on, we will continue," said Ganjar in his written statement, Saturday, April 16.

The caretaker of Ilyas Islamic Boarding School, Father Kiai Sami'an Ali, expressed his gratitude for the assistance given by Ganjar. Agreeing with Ganjar, Father Kiai wants this kind of kindness to continue to be spread.

"Let's pray for Pak Ganjar to always be given health and smoothness in the world and the hereafter," said Father Kiai Sami'an, inviting his students to pray for Ganjar.

The same thing was conveyed by the takmir of the Ibadurrohman mosque, Yanto. He explained that the residents were very happy and proud of Ganjar's care and concern.

“Alhamdulillah, Pak Ganjar came, provided basic food assistance and was ready to help build the mosque. We thank you profusely for the assistance provided. Pak Ganjar is a leader who cares and can protect his people. Good luck," he said.

Yanto explained that the 7 meter x 10 meter mosque was already in a state of disrepair. The roof of the mosque has started to tilt, and when it rains it often leaks.

"Indeed, since it was built in 1997, there has never been a renovation until now. That's why we are happy that Pak Ganjar helped renovate this mosque, so that we can worship in peace and comfort," he explained.
