BANDUNG - The Big City Police (Polrestabes) Bandung, West Java, have prepared as many as 33 security and service posts spread at various points to secure the Lebaran 2022 homecoming flow.

Head of Operations Section for Bandung Polrestabes AKBP Asep Pujiono said the post was prepared because in Eid 2022 the number of homecomers is predicted to increase compared to two years before the COVID-19 pandemic.

"For two years, people have not been going home, and now they are allowed. Surely many will depart near D-7. We will deploy both personnel and posts to prepare," Asep said in Bandung as reported by Antara, Wednesday, April 13.

According to him, police personnel during Operation Ketupat 2022 will be deployed to a number of crowded points, such as airports, stations and terminals to maintain the safety of travelers.

A number of security posts have been set up on several roads and toll roads. These posts functioned as a resting place for travelers.

"We will plan traffic engineering in the direction of Lembang. Regarding the boundaries, we will coordinate with the nearest area to find out crowded points there," he said.

Asep appealed to travelers who use two or four-wheeled vehicles to ensure the passenger capacity limit.

"Moreover, bringing goods in large and large quantities to overflowing, is prohibited. We will carry out these appeals to the community," he said.
