Ade Armando's First Beater Was Picked Up By The Police This Morning From The Tangsel Islamic Boarding School

JAKARTA - Dhia Ul Haq, the suspect in the beating of social media activist Ade Armando, was arrested by the police this morning, Wednesday, April 13.

Dhia Ul Haq, who is said to be the perpetrator of the first beating of Ade Armando, was arrested at the Al Madad Islamic Boarding School, Serpong, South Tangerang this morning.

"We have arrested the person in question at the Al Madad Islamic Boarding School, Serpong, South Tangerang," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Wednesday, April 13.

However, the reason for Dhia Ul Haq's existence at the Islamic boarding school was not clearly explained. Including, the possibility he is a student there.

So far, said Zulpan, Dhia Ul Haq is still undergoing intensive examination. Investigators are still investigating the role of what is said to be Ade Armando's first hitter.

However, if you refer to the circulating video footage, Dhia Ul Haq is indeed the person who hit Ade Armando for the first time. He hit the social media activist from behind.

"The person concerned is being investigated by a team related to his involvement, later we will convey, including why he was at the location where we arrested him," said Zulpan. For information, with this arrest three suspects have been arrested. They include Dhia Ul Haq, Muhammad Bagja and Komar. Meanwhile, the police have named 6 suspects in this case.

Meanwhile, Ade Armando was the victim of a beating during a student demonstration in the area of the Indonesian Parliament Building on April 11. The motive behind the beating is not yet known.
