JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the MPR RI Lestari Moerdijat assesses that policies related to Eid homecoming must prioritize security and safety aspects through policies that make it easier for travelers in the midst of the economic burden experienced by the community.

Therefore, according to her, the estimated increase in the number of homecomers in the midst of rising prices that burden the community, must be anticipated with effective policies so as to facilitate the flow of homecoming safely.
"The joint homecoming program planned by the government is one of the policies that must be expanded. By involving existing transportation companies, it is expected to organize a joint homecoming program for its employees," she said.
Lestari assessed that a more coordinated homecoming process is expected to improve the safety of the homecomers until they reach their destination.
